Hiya :bye:

I was wondering how things were going for you two.

There really isn't anything normal about CH. When Phil gets hit it's always in one sided, pretty much always his left side, since that's the sides that his attacks are on. Now he has gotten hit on his right side before as well, but I don't recall him getting hit on both sides at one time.

I know I sound like a broken record, but I have to keep saying it, she really needs to get to a neurologist to get some abortives and preventatives to help her get control of the beast.

CH is a one side headache. There are many headaches like CH. Chronic paroxysmal hemicrania, Trigeminal neuralgia are 2 of them. Also Migraine's are bad headaches.

Yes legend, typical cluster headache is unilateral - meaning one-side of the head is affected. It has been known to "switch sides", but it is not considered normal CH pain if both sides of the head are being hit at the same time.

Other headaches, which by their own right are very painful, can affect both sides or centered pain, such as migraine.

We cannot stress enough how important it is for your honey to see a neurologist to get a proper diagnosis!

We can't say for sure if it is CH or not Legend....we aren't doctors, we just offer advice and support. That's why we always stress that it's important to get to a neuro to get a proper diagnosis.

Hang in there and get her to a neurologist.
